Refurbishment of our practice: improving your care experience

Posted on:

We are excited to let you know that work is about to start on a full refurbishment of Trinity Medical Practice. The project is part of our ongoing commitment to improving our facilities and services to better serve you and your family.

What’s Changing?

The refurbishment will bring a range of improvements, including:

  • Modern facilities: We are upgrading our consultation rooms, waiting areas, and reception to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • More consultation space: We are adding 13 extra consulting rooms, including a minor procedures suite.
  • New pharmacy unit: We’re building a brand new on-site pharmacy.
  • Better accessibility: We are improving access for all patients, including those with mobility challenges, to make sure our practice is welcoming and easy to navigate.

Temporary Disruption

While we are excited about these changes, there may be some disruption while the work is carried out. This could include:

  • noise or restricted access to certain parts of the building
  • some appointments may need to be moved to a different room or, in rare cases, to another location nearby.

We will do everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum, and we will keep you informed throughout the process. Please note this will not impact our branch site Sandal Castle Medical Centre.

We will be updating our website on a dedicated page here and our Facebook page regularly and we will include details with your appointment reminders.

The work will begin at the end of February 2025 and take around 12 months to complete. We will continue to offer appointments and services as usual throughout this time.

The refurbishment is being delivered in partnership with Trinity Medical Centre, NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, Primary Health Properties and Probus Construction.

If you have any questions, please speak to a receptionist, contact us on 01924 784101 or email us at trinity.medicalcentre@nhs.net.

Thank you for your patience and support, and we look forward to welcoming you to our improved practice soon.
